Welcome to Handsome Objects
A sanctuary where the harmonious relationship between objects and space is celebrated. All are welcome here. Every object is thoughtfully curated to engage your senses, creating an atmosphere that activates your imagination while centering you in the space.
At Handsome Objects, we give voice and presence to artists who often go unheard. Our space is dedicated to showcasing the works of queer, feminist, and emerging artists – encompassing LGBTQIA, the misfits, the weirdos and the neurodivergents. We honor the cultural value of slow objects, each one a testament to the craftspersonship and innovation of artisans and creatives.
Our collection includes one-of-a-kind, small-batch items, vintage and antique objects that carry a history of their own. These are not just things but stories waiting to connect with new owners, who, in turn, become a part of their possible past. The curated contrasted of old and new creates a balanced dialogue between the past and the present.

About Thomas Hane
I am a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent artist, decorator, and atmosphere designer living in Berlin since 2016. My hands and imagination have been my primary tools since my earliest days. As soon as my senses aligned with my body, I created and explored the world through the tactile and the visual, finding beauty and meaning in the tangible.
For me, the act of creation is deeply tied to being consciously present. Each working moment is a deliberate, mindful act that contributes to a larger vision of growing a contemporary classic legacy that endures.

The imperfections are what make each object truly special, transforming them into handsome objects. This philosophy extends beyond my art and into my relationships with people. The quirks and flaws in human companions are what make them unique and irreplaceable, much like the objects I create and curate.
Imagination, ingenuity, and artistry are the tools I use to craft atmosphere. This process is akin to how a bird builds its nest. With patience and precision, each twig, leaf, and blade of grass is placed precisely where it ought to be, forming a strong foundation and an aesthetically easy haven. In my work, every item finds its proper place, contributing to a harmonious relationship with objects and space.
Through my art and decoration, I strive to capture the essence of life's imperfections and the beauty they bring. Each creation is a testament to the unique, the slightly off, and the perfectly imperfect moments that define our existence.
